UMMER 2015 - HOLIDAY FOR CHILDREN

As everyone knows, July and August is the time children have got their holidays. Unfortunately, we are not able to help everybody, however, each year we make every effort to create an opportunity to  some children go somewhere and make their dreams come true :)   This year, thanks to the support we provided, five of our wards will go on scout’s camps and cub scout summer camps in July. This camp is a continuation and summary of all-year efforts made by the teams. Cub scouts and scouts are given a chance to develop their immanent skills and acquire new ones. They learn self-reliance, resourcefulness, responsibility.

Just as a year ago, orphanage houses receive summer financial aid, too. This time we managed to finance a trip to the seaside city of Ustka, dedicated to the entire KWADRAT group from the branch of the Orphanage House No. 1 in Warsaw. 

And one more project we have been involved in: five talented children, wards of the social therapeutic center in Brwinów, will go to the summer camp organized in Serock. This initiative has been arranged and financed by the PMI Poland Chapter Association, named: „Project Management Kids Camp”. We, as a Foundation, paid for the stay of one child. The goal of this venture is to teach children on various aspects of project management that will allow them to implement objectives in a efficient manner and contribute to smooth functioning within the society. The two-week camp program combines regular classes with sports activities and integration among the participants. Children will carry out the project comprising both IT and programming and tasks expanding their imagination potential and creative thinking. The output will be a computer game, children will make up in their mind and then put down into their notebooks and verify in the form of the an outdoor game and, in the end of the day, they will write down as a program’s script.
