June 2021 - SUCCESS WRITTEN BY THE FOOTBALL

"In two days, a beautiful story ends, which had no right to happen. On Thursday, my amazing team will play their last match in the history of Legion Warszawa 2002/2003, and then the Boys will go to the senior clubs. The story has come full circle ... the adventure, when I was taking over the team, we started 5 years ago with a match with Drukarz Warszawa, we will also end with this team.It is also a kind of symbol: 5 years ago we started the game with a team of 9 (because there was no more then), kicking in the 2nd league district, we finished in the highest league, playing a great round in it - breaking a point record at this level, a goal record, taking points away from all teams ⚽️.

The players (both present and those who have already finished their careers), who gave their hearts to this Team, connected, built the atmosphere and supported. Who, when we first got promoted and then fell from the league, did not even think about leaving the club - on the contrary: they stayed, pulled the ears of others, supported and together we assembled a plan to return to a higher league. Not only did we come back, but we promoted several classes over the next years. It's nice to work with patient, conscious players and their parents. I must admit that it was this moment (exactly after a year of work - when we fell from I lo to II lo) that was a turning point in which I decided to work with the crew for the next years. And so I stayed until the end. Until next Thursday ... "

We are glad that the FORMIKA for Children Foundation was able to support these wonderful young football players for 5 years. The football is something more, it's relationships, emotions and commitment. The Legion team has developed many football talents and has helped many players to believe in themselves. Trainer Adam Krzyżanowski is an amazing person. 200% devoted time to these young people! We wish everyone meets of such a trainer on their sports path!
