Pursuant to the statute, our aid is also addressed directly to the large families who are in difficult material and living situation.
In June, we aided two of such families from the Pomorskie Province, providing them with long-term expiry date food and cleaning items. However, this is not our last word.
One of the families, consisting of as many as 10 persons, was also granted household items. In August, it will receive a table and a asset of chairs, and children will be assisted in arranging school starter kits, clothes and shoes, corrective eye wear. In addition, we will deliver the fuel supply for the wintertime.
The second family, actually composing of the mother and her four kids, has received, except for the food and cleaning accessories, new clothes and shoes for the summer. In August, we will help them to buy school starter kits and garment/ foot wear for the fall. In this case, we are also going to finance the fuel supply for the entire winter period.
We will endeavor to provide assistance on regular basis.
Thanks to our support five of the children from the County Orphanage in Szczutowo will go to the mountains, Ochotnica Dolna, for a sports-recreational camp, scheduled for July. The camp organizer is Life Long Association (Stowarzyszenie na Całe Życie).
The County Orphanage in Szczutowo is a facility providing a 24h care and assistance to children without or with partial parental care.
We are so glad that the kids will go on holidays!
In December 2013 – prior to the date the Foundation was established – we had helped children from the Nursing Home in Elbląg.
This is a permanent residence center caring for children and youth with intellectual disabilities, run by the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Jadwiga. The facility provides a 24h care and fulfils fundamental living, welfare, supportive, educational, social and religious demands, in accordance with individual needs of particular residents.
We have managed to raise funds for the central heating, installed in the recovery room, where children practice, supervised by professional physical therapists.
The building itself requires a lot of rearrangements and repairs, yet we will keep assisting - this time as a FORMIKA for Children Foundation.
